Będzin is a town situated in Southern Poland and consists of nearly 60 000 inhabitants. It was an important industrial town in the east part of Upper Silesian Industrial Region. Unfortunately, rate of unemployment is high due to liquidation of production plants caused by economical and political changes. The town is an important trade centre well known beyond the region. In Będzin every fan of culture can find something for him. The Theatre of the Children of Zagłębie, the Castle and periodic cultural events all-Polish range are only some of proposals for the inhabitants.
